Liquid Soaps by Vintage

Liquid Soaps are here by popular demand.  My  customers have been begging me to make liquid soaps for sometime.  I finally gave in!  I have always been a cold process snob and somewhat of a traditional soap maker.  I have been tinkering around my studio trying out new recipes and this one seems to foot the bill.  It is just right!  They can be used as a hand soap, body gel or bubble bath.  I decided not to put the label on the bottle, but a removable label and ingredient card.  This way you can have a pretty, clean bottle for beauty appearance when card is removed.

Body Frostings

BODY FROSTINGS!
I just added Body Frostings to my line.  They are wonderfully luxurious and decadent!! My local customers are raving about them.  They just love them.  It is such a wonderful feeling when you get such great feedback.  It makes it all worthwhile!!!!  I have as of now,  four fragrances that will have you begging for more:

Teacher's Birthday Cake

Several weeks ago I was approached by my daughter's classmates, puppy dog eyes and big smiling faces asked, " Mrs. C. can you please make a Birthday cake for our teacher, and would you mind throwing in some peppermint marshmallows, he adores your marshmallows? " One look at those cute adorable faces and I could not say no! 

It just so happens, I had a crazy schedule the week that I needed to make this cake, but I managed to somehow fit it in.  I hope he loves it.  It is a deep dark chocolate espresso cake with one layer of white cake, chocolate ganache with a hint of espresso and Oreo Cookie  French Butter Cream.  The outside of the cake is coated with Chocolate Ganache, Cookie Cream and a thick layer of French Butter Cream and decorated with White Chocolate Candles, Gumpaste Stars and a Chocolate Ganache drizzle.  Well,  for good measure I have a couple of chocolate strawberries on top and extra for all the kids. 

Soap Tart Party Favors

Yummy!!!!

They are not real tarts, but soap fakes.  They are party favors for a Bridal Shower.  The scents are Keylime Pie and Silken Chocolate Mousse.  I heard a lot of people were fooled!  It was a big hit and the bride to be was very pleased!!!  I heard she has a big sweet tooth!  Well, this one is an indulgence in the tub and calorie free!

Birthday Gifts for Moms

I had  a special customer request on etsy for two Birthday Gift Boxes, one for her Mom and one for her Mother-in-law.  She requested that I put my Birthday soap cake and Chocolate Raspberry soap cake in each box.   I hand painted the boxes added a big fat ribbon and oversized flower for drama.

This is a sample for my client to see for a favor order. The color theme for the party is purple and silver.

Love is in the Air!

It is never to early to think about Love, or for that matter Valentine's Day.  I just put together a box of goodies just for your special love one.  I listed it on etsy, but here is a sample.  I hope you love it.

New Cream Soaps

Black Sambuca and White Cream

This soap is made with heavy cream and goats milk, and if that weren't enough, I added shea and cocoa butter for the extreme in moisturizing soap bars!!! This soap is infused with the essential oils of fennel and anise. 

For therapeutc benefits, I added a generous amount of black walnut powder which has been used for hundreds of years for skin problems such as ezcema.  The black walnut powder is the actual marbeling in my soap bar.  There was no artificial colorants added to this soap. 

Roses and Cream Soap Bar

Imagine sweet cream infused with rose buds, a touch of patchouli and pink kaolin clay.

This is it folks!  It smells like a fresh picked bouquet of English roses.  The heavy cream in this soap bar with the benefits of pink kaolin clay make you feel like a Victorian Beauty Queen! 

This soap is of a bygone era, when Vintage beauty came in roses and cream complexions.

They are fresh batches and need to cure.  Check in 3 weeks and they will be listed on my esty store!

Girly Birthday Gift (Sweet 16 Birthday Gift)

A customer called me lastnight and wanted to know, if it was possible to put a quick basket together for a friends daughter's "Sweet 16 Party".  I filled gift basket with sweet soap goodies.  The basket contains strawberry cake slice, lemon and blueberry fizzies, raspberry mint lip balm, chocolate soap tart, strawberry scrub, vanilla cream blondie soap bar and strawberry cream blondie soap bar.  It also comes with a matching gift bag!  I need to deliver today for her party tomorrow.  I hope she loves it!!!
